First of all I would like to visit Tane Mahuta because I want to take pictures of it and touch it. I also would like to learn about it and see how different it is to other native trees in New Zealand. I would also like to see how tall it is and how think it is. I think 100 years from now this tree would be a legendary story.

Those are great reasons for wanting to visit Tāne Mahuta. I don't feel like pictures ever do our natural environment justice - things always look better in real life. If you do get the opportunity to go to Northland and see him, who would you take with you?
