score. But I want to get higher so I have to practice factors and percentages.

Learning Goal- am practising my typing so I can be quicker

and more accurate.

This will help me finish my work faster.

Winter learning journey Day 3 Activity 1

My Screencastify

The book I read was Geronimo Stilton The Wild, Wild West. I had to screencastify myself reading 2 pages, and rate how well I read and see how much points I got from 1-12. 

I was a little slow and the sentences flowed pretty well. = 2

All, or nearly all, of the words were read correctly. = 3

My voice went up and down to keep the text interesting. = 3

I used a loud clear voice while reading the text. = 3

The total is 11

I think I have to work on keeping the sentences flow so it can be interesting. I also think I need to work on keeping my voice loud and clear so people can hear it.

Winter learning journey Day 2 Writing a short story using your imagination

One quiet sunny day I went for a walk, I crossed the park and noticed the park was empty. No people, no animals, nothing at all. All I could hear was a squeaky sound, I kept walking and trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. I got closer to the swing and I realised the sound was one of the swings, swinging back and forth by itself with no one pushing it, no one on it or no wind blowing it. I looked at the other swing beside it, it was not moving, I began to feel scared and ran home. When I got home I told my mum about the swing and she said it might be broken, but to me I think it was something else like a ghost.

This is Geronimo Stilton

He is my favourite character because he is funny and he almost has the same personality as me. He is also my favourite character because when he got forced to fight for Cactus city he didn't complain but gave it his all and became the hero.

I like him because when he does something he does it to the best of his ability. I also like him because he never gives up and keeps trying to get victory. 

I drew Geronimo Stilton with brown skin because he's brown, I also drew Geronimo a bright colourful hat because it is always sunny at the Wild Wild West. Last I drew him a sad face because he is terrified of the bull chasing him.

This is Geronimo Stilton
He is very funny because when the bar owner slides his drink to him he missed it three times. He is also funny because when he was on the bull he was lost like he was a sleep.

The moral of this book is to try your best in whatever you do and never give up. 

I like this book because the front cover looks exciting and hooks me in to read it. I also like this book because when I was reading it I felt like I was in another world exploring the Wild, Wild West.

This is what happened:

So Aly and Navin were running away from 3 blue ghost. While they were running 1 of the blue ghost caught Trisha and Trisha told Aly to get the flashlight and shine it on them. Next the blue ghosts ran away. Later Aly said to Trisha how did you know what to do and Trisha replied lucky guess.

On Monday I got 37/38 and today I got 35/38 I am not happy but I am going to try harder.

So Aly Hunter was picked to be a pilot with two other people. When she got picked and not Navin she told Navin that this is wrong she won't go without him but Navin just told her go it's OK. Next Navin went and told his chief that he had to take his bracelet of so he could go help but the chief said no. When the chief said no he begged him a until he finally said YES so he took it off and went to go help Aly Hunter.
